LSAIsrael at Dojo Festival 6

APRIL | 22-24 | 2015 – This was LSAIsrael’s 2nd year at the Dojo Festival where many different groups with many interests come and enjoy the festive atmosphere at the Springs at Sachne in the North of Israel. Dojo Festival, as the name implies is an event participated in by many martial arts groups such as Kung Fu, Capoeira, Aikido, Jujitsu, Krav Maga, Taekwondo and others. There were also other eclectic and aesthetic interests such as Zumba, Belly Dancing, Yoga etc.

Participants of the Arnis sessions worked some basic stick-vs-stick defenses and entries into Baston Serrada.

In between the hourly sessions in the different tents, participants enjoyed the cool waters of the different pools at the spring or enjoy other refreshments, snacks or meals at the rest tent.

We enjoyed some light camping and barbecuing throughout the days we were there and really good company, meeting old friends and making new ones.

See you again next year!

VIDEO – Eilat Winter Camp 2015

Posted: May 11, 2015 in Events

One of my guys put together a video of our shenanigans at our last Winter Camp in Eilat. Thanks Ofer for your hard work and creativity!

Beautiful Bacolod. Let’s start with that.
From the island of Panay we jump on to Bacolod via the Supercat from Iloilo. Our good friend Ralph meets us at the pier and takes us to a delicious Chinese food dinner.
Bacolod is great for road trips. Either north or south there is always something to see from antique houses, sugar plantations, amazing view and scenery.

volcano view

We viewed Mt. Kanlaon from a Balinese style rest house while eating pancit and cake as we talked about rural life and the beauty of the landscape. A place definitely worth another visit.

We stayed the night at a mountain resort, enjoyed some simple diversion and some daring with a zipline.

We’ll be back Bacolod!
